These series of pictures represent images that were designed by an Illustrator working for a company that has a Marketing Department. Manufacturing Industries create products that are designed and engineered for some purpose. Draftsman are those company employees that blueprint parts that will be manufactured. A Draftsman may also have the responsibility of modeling parts of machines to illustrate what they look like before they are manufactured. A machine, whether an automobile, a light switch .e.g. has many parts. A Draftsman, would then have an illustrative responsibility to show how the various parts fit together, which is called an Assembly Drawing. On this web page there is a link above that shows what the pictorial drawing of this wind generator. Just a little more clicking on your part and you will see the orthographic's of this wind generator on hyperlinks labeled; detailed drawings, d2 and d3.

You as a Drafting Student taking Technical Illustration will be learning how to create complex parts in assembly drawings and illustrate those parts orthographically in detailed drawings, model these parts 3 dimensionally by isometric, dimetric, trimetric and 3d illustrative techniques. All of the objectives, which will be given in further detail on the lessons page.

 

The lessons will be created with CADD software: ACAD 2004 provided by the Cad Store in Phoenix.

2. Read the syllabus to view prerequisites and computer software and hardware requirements.
3. Send an e-mail message to your instructor, Email.
4. Review your Assignment Calendar.
5. Contact your Counselor and register for a class.The floating menu bar has links to the High

6. Meet your Instructor.
7. Go to your lessons.
8. Look at your grades and see how you are doing.
