Welcome to Basic
Technical Drawing. This class is given in Room 20 of the Startech
Professional Center, located at Paradise Valley High School.
The above animation and model was created by Fernando Salazar,
an advanced student who started with this very important and
fundamental introduction to Board Drafting and CADD, Called
Basic Technical Drawing. Students will be trained
using CADD every Friday throughout the Semester, for an easier
transition to the advanced drafting courses which are taught
completely using CADD software, and Autodesk Product provided
by the Cad Store.
This is not an
internet class but supply's Parents and other Educators with
the content of the curriculum and the lessons that students
will be completing throughout this course. This is a single
Semester course and is a fundamental prerequisite for the advanced
course in Drafting which include, Computer Aided Drafting and
Design, Engineering Drafting, Architectural Drafting and Technical
Illustration. The CADD course is available as an internet course
that is dual enrolled with Gateway Community College for 3 college
credits per semester.
The lessons in this
course are created on the Board and with CADD software: ACAD
2002 provided by the Cad
Store in Phoenix. Our Primary text is Basic Technical Drawing
by Spencer and Dygnon.
